The free App IRS Weed Recognition can be used for the rapid and unambiguous identification of 137 different broadleaf weeds and grasses in 35 sugar beet.
By clicking on how the parts of the weeds or grass look like, the species can be determined.
The individual weeds / grasses are described in detail (bud stage, leaves, stems, flowers, etc.) and illustrated with several pictures at different developmental stages.
Once installed carried the identification of the weeds / grasses offline, only for showing the pictures is an Internet connection.
This app is a joint initiative of the IRS, LIZ, BISZ, KBIVB-IRBAB, ITB, Nordic Sugar, British Sugar AIMCRA, BETA and SFZ.
